Habitat for Humanity Build: September 26, 2010



SOWSA is excited to announce our Kickoff Community Service Event for the 2010-2011 academic year. On Sunday, September 26th from 1PM to 5PM, SOWSA will participate in a community building event with Habitat for Humanity. If you are interested in participating, please send an email request to sowsa.fau@comcast.net and you will receive a response with instructions on how to register. There is limited space available, and participants will be confirmed on a first come first serve basis.

MSW Incoming Student Orientation

Please join SOWSA and the FAU School of Social Work on Thursday, August 19, 2010, at 6 PM for the MSW Incoming Student Orientation. This event will be held in the Nursing Auditorium on the FAU Campus.
Before the event begins, SOWSA will be available to speak to you about our organization. Please stop by our table, introduce yourselves and find out about the exciting things that we have planned for the school year. If you are interested in becoming a member, you will be able to sing up on the spot. Memberships cost $20 for the school year. Cash and Check accepted.
